Danika has arrived!!!! She arrived on 12/18/2009 at 9:59 am. She is 8 lb 4 oz and 22 inches long. Doc says there was no way she was coming out vaginally. She is a mellow baby. She cries when she needs to eat and when she has a dirty diaper. I have learned that I have flat nipples so it is making BF hard. I cannot get her to latch on and the pumping isn't working either. I am getting very little when I pump so she is getting more formula than breast milk. Nothing really much I can do about it but oh well. I am swollen from head to toe and now have carpel tunnel in my right wrist. I'm having pain from the c-section but thank god for pain meds. DH is helping a ton! He is so wonderful. He is doing everything. He is madly in love with his daughter. He was afraid today when changing her that he actually cried. He said he thought he was hurting her. Of course he wasn't though. She was just crying because she hates to be naked!!!! Well I am off to sleep before the next feeding

OMG HOW DID I MISS THIS??? SHe's so beautiful! Congratulations, mama!!! Get your rest and keep relying on DH. You've got some recouping to do!
Oh, and don't worry about the BFing. Max and I had a terrible time too, and he's done well with formula even though that's not the route I wanted to go.
